The Natural Capital Marketplace
The Natural Capital Marketplace is a cloud-based application that supports farmers and landowners understand their natural capital options. The platform connects the farming community with trusted delivery partners to develop nature-based projects, and provides a ready market for any resultant ecosystem services. Registering an account is free, with no onward commitment, allowing the landholder to view customised opportunities matched to landholdings and project objectives that they themselves have set. We welcome enquiries from potential project delivery partners, and provide offset solutions for responsible customers, both public and private, who have documented their own commitment to Net Zero. A Biosphere Foundation project, the platform is offered on a not-for-profit basis, focussing instead on impact – environmental, social and economic. Currently live and supporting landowners in Devon, the platform will shortly be available in many more areas across the UK.
