Rural crime is a blight on the countryside with rural landowners often the victims. The CLA is fighting for better recognition and tougher penalties on issues such as hare coursing and fly tipping. You can read our actions plans for both of these issues here.
Oure regional teams frequently meet with Police and Crime Commissioners and Chief Constables to ensure that they understand the unique challenges faced by rural communities and landowners and that tackling rural crime is at the top of their agenda.
