Policy & Engagement Adviser, Emily Church, called into BBC Radio Wales' morning prime-time listener-phone-in with anchor, Dot Davies, this morning. She explains why the Welsh Government's proposed Visitor Levy will be very damaging for many marginal rural tourism businesses - many of which are farm-diversifications. Emily adds, "We are continuing to lobby against this, and will fight to include exemptions etc. If and how much each local authority will charge is unclear at the moment. All we know is that the proposal is expected to be enacted within the next 2 years and will be lead at a local level by local authorities.
