We are delighted to welcome Steven Crane-Jenkins into the fold as our new Senedd and External Affairs Manager.

Steven joins CLA Cymru from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Wales, bringing with him a wealth of experience in Welsh politics and public affairs. After graduating from the University of Wales, Lampeter, with a degree in Welsh, one of his first professional roles was working at the newly established National Assembly for Wales (now the Senedd) following the landmark 1999 referendum vote.

In his new position, Steven will engage directly with Members of the Senedd (MSs) and other elected representatives across Wales to ensure the voice of rural businesses and landowners is clearly heard. He will also lead on media relations and social media activity for CLA Cymru, helping to raise the profile of the rural Wales and members’ priorities.

Steven said: “I am really pleased to be joining the CLA Cymru team, led by Victoria Bond, in this brand-new role. It is an exciting time to be stepping into the position, particularly with so much political change across Wales. I look forward to working closely with our members to champion rural Wales and build strong relationships at the Senedd and beyond.”
