Iain Hill Trevor and son Angus are hiking, biking, rafting and kayaking across Costa Rica in Central America fund-raising for Borne: please make a donation.

A 275 km trek crossing Costa Rica from East to West, battling their way on foot, bike, kayak, and raft. CLA Cymru Chair, Iain Hill Trevor and his son Angus have joined former rugby players Will Greenwood and Dean Mumm in tackling that country’s Coast2Coast challenge. The expedition is in support of independent medical research charity Borne.

“Many will know that our children Lottie and Angus were both born prematurely: we know how very lucky we are that both are happy adults now,” says Iain. “Other members of our family and friends have also tackled the trauma of premature birth – the leading cause of death for children under the age of 5 in the UK. This charity was created to promote and support medical research to prevent the onset of pre-term labour.”

I’m calling on fellow members and others to support our challenge and make a donation to Borne: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/iainandangus-hill-trevor
