Portland to Lulworth (Weymouth Bay) stretch of the England Coast Path

Natural England is seeking views on the proposals that will restrict public access on the Portland to Lulworth stretch of the England Coast Path

Under The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (CROW Act) it gives public right of access to land mapped as ‘open country’ or registered as common land. Most of the English Coast Path is open access.

There are proposals for this specific site which are outlined in the consultation document and relevant maps. The consultation closes on 13 May 2022. Please do not hesitate to contact the regional office if you have any queries regarding this consultation.
