CLA Charitable Trust - South West update

Four South West organisations benefit from CLA Charitable Trust funding

The most recent round of CLA Charitable Trust (CLACT) grants have been awarded in the South West, with four organisations across the region benefitting from more than £10,000 following successful applications for funding.

Farmwise Devon, who organise events for children to help them learn more about farming, will receive £2,500 to purchase a trailer that will enable visits to schools. Project Food, also based in Devon, is an organisation that supports people to access more nutritious food. It has been granted £2,000 to provide support sessions at a local farm for people struggling with mental health issues.

The APE Project - St. Paul's Adventure Playground - in Bristol, will receive £2,880 to fund a Permaculture worker to support its ‘Food for Thought’ project.

And finally, the Straw Patch Project based in Devon with the aim of promoting positive mental health through ecotherapy, has been granted £3,000 to provide nature-based activities to support people of differing ages and needs.
