Net Zero In Agriculture & Land Use (England) CLA Policy Briefing

This is the CLA's policy briefing on how the agriculture and land management sectors can make progress towards net zero while protecting domestic food security and not offshoring production. It includes seven principles which government policymaking should follow to create a just transition for rural businesses. The briefing focuses on the foundational, enabling actions that government will need to take to support land-based businesses to decarbonise, regardless of what happens on more controversial topics like diet change.
