Richard Pinney
Richard is a solicitor with more than 20 years’ experience helping clients on property matters and advising on aspects of rural life in England and Wales.
After leaving the army, Richard converted to law and worked in private practice in regional firms in the South West before moving to Oxford to head up the agriculture department for the national firm Knights. Since then he has taken post as a legal advisor for the CLA assisting members with their queries.
He provides advice on a wide range of rural land law issues such as land registration, adverse occupation, access and the interpretation of deeds with rights, easements and covenants. Boundary disputes and issues over private rights of way also form a major part of his workload.
