CLA Energy Services

CLA Energy Services, provided by LSI Energy (part of Inspired Energy Plc), offers expert energy advice to CLA members running rural businesses. Specially formed to help CLA members reduce their electricity, gas, and water expenditure, this service can help you operate more efficiently.

CLA members can benefit from a free energy health check and potentially save thousands of pounds per year on business energy. The CLA Energy Services account managers are dedicated to finding you the best deal for your business and can compare prices of over 40 energy suppliers in just 10 minutes.

If you are a member with a registered business, they can:

  • run a free assessment of your current energy contracts;
  • help negotiate the best rates available;
  • provide ongoing account management and advice; and
  • help you join the CLA Energy Club to benefit from its collective buying power.

For those members running larger operations, CLA Energy Services’ advisers can analyse your electricity and gas bills to see if you are being overcharged. They can also arrange additional services, such as an on-site audit of your energy and water usage and, if your meters need to be upgraded, management of on-site works.

The CLA Energy Club

If you have a registered business you can join the CLA Energy Club. Set up specifically for members, your usage will be combined with that of other qualifying members to give CLA Energy Services greater buying power in the market.

Covid-19 Update

We hope that you and your families are well and that your operations are holding up during these trying times.

During the pandemic, our priority is the well-being of our staff and therefore our office is currently closed and we are all working remotely. However, we have put a number of measures in place to ensure that our teams can continue to deliver quality services to CLA members. There may be delays in us accessing post, if so please bear with us, but be assured that no other services will be affected. Our staff will be in contact with you as normal to assist you with your energy and gas contract needs.

We are acutely aware of the impact the Covid-19 situation can pose and so would like to highlight three key actions that you can take to ensure things continue to run smoothly with your contracts.

  1. Renew your electricity and gas contracts – we are here to help.
  2. If you do not have a SMART Meter, provide regular, timely meter readings to your supplier.
  3. Discuss any payment issues with your suppliers as soon as possible.
