The purpose of this Guidance Note is to help individuals understand their duties under the English and Welsh agricultural water pollution regulations where there are different contractual arrangements in place – partnerships, tenancies, contract farming, share farming, grazing licences, agistment, and common land. It focuses on the apportionment of legal duties between parties.
