The CLA (Country Land and Business Association) recently hosted their post-budget succession roadshow events across all counties in the North.
The CLA (Country Land and Business Association) recently hosted their post-budget succession roadshow events across all counties in the North. Events were held at Hexham Auction Mart, Aldwark Manor, Junction 36 Conference Centre and Myerscough College with well over 250 members and guests in attendance.
Expert speakers covered a variety of aspects related to succession planning which included associated aspects related to the family farm tax, legal aspects, business structures, family relationships, land / farm values and much more. Expert speakers included the CLA’s Richie O’Dowd, Nicki Hutchinson and Keith Johnston (Armstrong Watson), David Slack (Strutt and Parker) and Angus Hunter Smart (Wrigleys Solicitors) with all events chaired by CLA North Director Harriet Ranson.
These events were also supported by the Addington Fund, with further support provided by Addington Fund and The Farming Community Network.
