Three CLA members took home accolades from the Marketing Cheshire Tourism Awards last week for their diversified businesses.

The prestigious Marketing Cheshire Tourism awards, which took place on 23rd March, at the Halliwell Jones stadium in Warrington recognises the excellence and outstanding achievements of local businesses and individuals focussing on Cheshire’s visitor economy.

The winners were Combermere Abbey who won Best Small Serviced Accommodation provider of the year for the Bed and Breakfast. They also picked up a second award in the Weddings Highly Commended section for Best Wedding Venue of the year. Cholmondeley Castle Estate won Best Visitor Attraction of the year for BeWilderwood and Bolesworth Estate tenant, The Ice Cream Farm won the Innovation and Resilience Award of the Year.

Many congratulations to all those Cheshire businesses who won at the Marketing Cheshire Annual Awards last week. It is so exciting to see them recognised for their creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and resilience after such a tough and challenging two years.

This was the 17th year the awards have been held and with 17 categories, many of the winners will go on to represent Cheshire at national level at the Visit England Awards of Excellence in June.
