Branch Committee Update

We have just completed our autumn round of branch committee meetings. Branch committees are an essential component of the CLA, meeting three times a year to discuss and consult on a variety of important topics which help us formulate policy when lobbying government.

Members of these committees have direct input into providing ‘on the ground’ experiences to our senior advisory team, enabling them to give real-life examples of the impact government decisions will have on our rural communities and businesses.

Following on from our summer AGMs and the recent round of committee meetings, we would like to welcome the below members into their new positions on branch committees:

James Davenport – Vice Chair of Herefordshire Branch Committee
Patrick Beddows – Vice Chair of Leicestershire & Rutland Branch Committee
Lord Gavin Hamilton – Chair of Shropshire Branch Committee
Richard Corbet – Vice Chair of Shropshire Branch Committee
Wojtek Behnke – Chair of Staffordshire Branch Committee
Sam White – Vice Chair of Warwickshire Branch Committee
Peter Edwards – Vice Chair of Worcestershire Committee
