Building on the success of our drinks receptions from previous years, we are excited to announce that the first one of 2026 is confirmed and available to book now on our website.

Generously sponsored by Brabners and PKF Smith Cooper, and by kind permission of Henry and CarlaSinta Brooks, CLA members and friends are invited into the doors of this stunning Elizabethan Manor, Peover Hall on Thursday 7th May.

Dating back to 1585, the Manor has been carefully restored following its occupation by General George Patton in 1944. This historic gem offers an impressive carved staircase, panelled walls and a striking long gallery.

Set within beautiful gardens and parkland attributed to renowned landscape architect William Emes, it also boasts a range of stables featuring a unique Cromwellian stucco plaster ceiling, 13 carved stalls and a charming Georgian coach house.

This really is an event not to be missed, and guests can look forward enjoying drinks and canapes in this truly historic and picturesque setting.
