Succession planning is notorious for being one of those things that is often left to be dealt with on another day. Despite that, succession planning is one of the most important tasks facing any landowner.
If you leave major decisions about the future of your business and assets too late, you may have to make them without time for proper consideration, and at a time of great stress. It can also result in more limited and less tax efficient options.
