2024 promises to be another bumper year for CLA East events with work underway to ensure members have a range of engaging seminars, visits and social occasions to look forward to across the year.

Planning is in full swing for the summer AGMs and annual visits with some fascinating venues lined up across the region.

Seminar topics will include updates on rural planning matters, diversification and low carbon housing, among others. There will also be events for the CLA Next Generation Network and CLA Women’s Network.

The summer will see the CLA once again have a range of social events and networking opportunities at the Suffolk Show, Lincolnshire Show, Groundswell and the Royal Norfolk Show.

Elaine Molton is the events coordinator (maternity cover) for CLA East. She says there is a lot to look forward to in 2024: “We’re excited to be delivering our events programme for this year and I’m looking forward to seeing as many members as possible.

“Every year we aim to put on events for our members that provide an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and networks and hear from our expert CLA speakers,” said Elaine. “We also ensure there are plenty of social occasions where people can meet with friends and family in a relaxed and informal setting.

“We welcome suggestions from members on any topics or venues for events that you would like us to consider in the future. If you have any ideas, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the regional office.”
