CLA team complete fundraiser walking challenge

A team from the CLA has undertaken a walking challenge in memory of former colleague Tim Woodward who sadly passed away last year following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Tim supported members with their CLA enquiries for more than a decade, becoming a trusted adviser on all matters of land management. He regularly represented members’ interests at meetings across the region and developed long-term relationships with a range of stakeholders, by whom he was well respected.

A group of his CLA colleagues collectively walked a target distance of 2,644 miles in July. The digital route marked the number of miles it would take the team to cover a circular walk to every CLA office in England and Wales, plus a visit to a favourite destination of Tim’s in Scotland.

So far, nearly £2,000 has been raised in Tim’s memory, with funds going to the charity Pancreatic Cancer UK.
