The CLA is looking forward to welcoming members to its marquee at the Suffolk Show.

On each day, we have two speakers at our breakfast events who will ensure you have informative and entertaining start to your day.

Day one – May 28 - CLA Breakfast

Jenny Riddell-Carpenter is the Labour MP for Suffolk Coastal. Jenny is also a member of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee.

Victoria Vyvyan is President of the CLA. Victoria will be providing an industry update and highlight the CLA’s work in key policy areas.

Day two – May 29 – CLA Breakfast

Archie Ruggles-Brise is the 11th generation of the Ruggles-Brise family to take the helm since the family purchased Spains Hall in 1760. He has reshaped the direction of the estate to better balance food production, water and the environment. Archie is currently undertaking a Nuffield Scholarship.

Richard Negus is a Suffolk hedgelayer working predominantly with landowners across East Anglia. His new book, Words from the Hedge, is an insider’s guide to one of the most essential yet often overlooked elements of the British countryside – the hedgerow.
