East of England organisations encouraged to apply for CLA Charitable Trust funding
Charities and community organisations across the East of England are being encouraged to apply for funding from the CLA Charitable Trust (CLACT), which supports projects that help disabled and disadvantaged people experience the countryside and learn more about the natural world.
The CLACT provides grants of up to £5,000 to charities, community interest companies and other not-for-profit organisations that use the countryside to improve wellbeing, provide educational opportunities and help people develop new skills.
From farm visits and conservation projects to community growing schemes, horticultural therapy and outdoor learning activities, the trust supports a wide range of initiatives that connect people with rural life and the natural environment.
