CLA East member Natasha Power is project co-ordinator for Heathpatch Ltd, based on a farm in rural Suffolk. Agriculture is a core activity at Heathpatch and the family business also has a strong interest in unlocking business potential, growing a variety of companies in sectors from hospitality, manufacturing, distribution of recycling machinery and renewable energy.

“The CLA is an invaluable source of information and advice,” says Natasha, who has sought guidance from CLA advisers on a range of topics including commercial and residential lettings, biodiversity net gain and legal matters.

“The team of lawyers are quick to respond and have a wide variety of templates and guidance notes that the business uses to manage its land and properties. I also find the CLA to be an excellent sounding board when I just need to talk through topics such as carbon footprint reporting, EPCs and company compliance.”
