Belvoir Fruit Farms win Best New Product Award at CLA Game Fair

21 July 2014

Belvoir Fruit Farms’ Elderflower Light Pressé has been announced as this year’s winner of the CLA Game Fair’s highly contested Best New Product or Service Award.

This important award, which is open to all exhibitors across all areas of the CLA Game Fair, recognises innovation in rural and small businesses. Last year Truncator, a Cumbria-based manufacturer of innovative log-cutting sawhorses, won the award.

Elderflower Light Pressé has 30% less sugar than Belvoir Fruit Farms’ regular sparkling Elderflower drink, but it’s still bubbling with loads of fresh lemon juice and handpicked elderflowers. Like all of their drinks, Elderflower Light is made with only natural products – there’s no artificial sweeteners, colours or preservatives in it.

Judge Tony Wall, Director of the CLA Game Fair, commented: “We were inundated with innovative, creative entries this year, which is so encouraging. This product will appeal to everyone – elderflower is the quintessential taste of summer and the perfect drink for CLA Game Fair visitors.”

Pev Manners, Managing Director at Belvoir Fruit Farms, added: “What an honour to receive this award. Many thanks to the whole of the CLA Game Fair team.”
