What CLA Cymru does for you

The CLA Cymru team provides advice and rural representation as well as a range of social and professional benefits for nearly 3,200 members in Wales.  Our membership is engaged in all sectors of the rural economy and includes farmers, landowners and around 250 types of rural business.  As a member you will benefit from:

Advice – Full members enjoy access to a free advisory service providing independent, impartial information and advice on a wide range of rural and business issues such as planning, access and boundary disputes.

Up to date information – Members receive the CLA's monthly Land & Business magazine and an Enews bulletin with relevant and up to date news, plus access to a wide variety of information leaflets and briefing notes. Do we have your email address? You can also keep in touch with the latest news affecting rural business through our press releases and by following us on Twitter @clawales.

Local representation – Each county has a branch committee elected from the membership that ensures local concerns are addressed at the highest level.  There are currently four Welsh branch committees:

 – members can enjoy a wide range of local events and activities – conferences, tax and legal advisory briefings and clinics, business breakfasts, estate/farm visits and social functions.

 – CLA Cymru meets regularly with Welsh Government Cabinet Secretaries and Ministers and also the Secretary of State for Wales and his deputy - and a wide range of other stakeholders to represent members' interests on a wide range of topics that affect every rural business.
