The final round of CLA South East AGMs of 2018 kicked off last night, at a fascinating venue.
The meeting for our Surrey branch was held at Syon House at Syon Park, the last privately owned country estate in London and the family home of the Duke of Northumberland.
The house and landscape have changed little since the late 18th century, when Robert Adam was commissioned to work on the interior and Lancelot “Capability” Brown redesigned the landscape surrounding the house.
Guests toured the house and after the AGM were addressed by CLA President Tim Breitmeyer, with the event supported by Savills and Smith & Williamson.
The final AGM of the year will be held at The Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes, for our Isle of Wight branch, on 25 September. Click here to book tickets.
The next round of AGMs in the South East will start in the spring.
