The CLA is delighted to welcome Annabelle Gardner as the new CLA Midlands Events Manager. Annabelle is responsible for organising a full and varied programme of social and professional events across the region, often relying on the hospitality of CLA members who own some of the most stunning venues in the country.
Annabelle joined the CLA from the Marketing and Communications department at Harper Adams University - where she had previously graduated with First Class Honours Degree in Business Management with Marketing. Appropriately, her degree project highlighted the importance of rural businesses to the UK economy, in which she now plays a full and active part.
Commenting on her appointment, Annabelle said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work for such an important organisation, which does so much to support and protect the rural economy in these uncertain times. I look forward to organising a variety of events across the length and breadth of our region that all types of member will enjoy and benefit from. Hopefully, I can build on the great work of my predecessor Debbie Nicholson.”
Outside of work Annabelle is a keen horse rider, skier and golfer.
