Mark leads the Midlands team and has overall responsibility for the management of the CLA’s regional business and membership.
Born and bred in the Midlands, Mark joined the regional team in 2015 to work in his professional capacity as a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor. He has spent that time advising members on issues arising from the use, ownership and occupation of land.
Having previously worked in Rural Estate Management and Property and Business Asset Management and Development, Mark has a sound understand and appreciation for the workings and challenges of rural areas and the rural economy.
In 2017 Mark became a fellow of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA) and in the same year was voted onto the ALA Council. He is also a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Farmers and a member of the Farmers Club.

Jan is the first point of contact for the eight regional Branch Committees. Jan takes the lead in arranging lobbying and briefings with MPs, MEPs and decision makers in the region and is also PA to the Midlands Director.

Richard advises members on a range of issues including HS2, agricultural tenancies and licences, NVZ regulations, planning & diversification, field sports, rights of way and access, cross compliance, Single Payment System, compulsory purchase, boundaries and land registration, animal health and welfare, and agri-environment schemes.

Mike has worked in communications roles for the CLA for over ten years and has extensive experience in PR and marketing in the public and private sectors. He is responsible for regional communications with members and the media and firmly believes that the CLA is about people, and that its strength comes from its members.

Annabelle is responsible for organising a full and varied programme of social and professional events across the region, often relying on the hospitality of CLA members who own some of the most stunning venues in the country.
Annabelle joined the CLA from the Marketing and Communications department at Harper Adams University - where she had previously graduated with First Class Honours Degree in Business Management with Marketing. Appropriately, her degree project highlighted the importance of rural businesses to the UK economy, in which she now plays an active part. Outside of work Annabelle is a keen horse rider, skier and golfer.
Stephen is National Sales Manager North and manages a team of territory managers who are responsible for developing membership for the CLA.

Duncan is Territory Manager for Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and Staffordshire. He is a BSc Harper Adams Graduate who has spent 15 years Involved in practical agriculture in several sectors and was employed within the agricultural machinery industry for eight years. David is Territory Manager for Hereford, South Shropshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
