CLA Cymru responds to the Welsh Government's £50m Brexit Fund

11 January 2018

The First Minister has announced a "significant cash-boost" to help Welsh businesses plan and prepare for Brexit. CLA Cymru comments...

“Wales must have a smooth transition into the post Brexit environment, we must sustain stability in order to maintain investment and competitiveness,” says Rhianne Jones, Rural Affairs Advisor, CLA Cymru. “Farming and rural businesses must have the confidence in the transitionary process, but, moreover, in a long-term future for their businesses.

In terms of the Brexit process it’s still unclear how we may be impacted and when and what structures will exist to ease the transition. We are engaged with the Welsh Government to gain clarity about the transitionary fund process, the resource available, criteria and timeline.”
