The Enterprise M3 Wood Processing Grant Programme is an initiative to support enterprising timber businesses. The programme will provide capital grants to small and medium sized businesses to part-fund projects that create jobs and strengthen and expand the operation of the wood processing industry and hubs in the area.
If your forestry business operates in the Enterprise M3 region you could apply for an individual grant of between £35,000-£150,000.
Eligible expenditure may include machinery and equipment, or the refurbishment and expansion of premises.
Businesses have until 8 May 2017 at 10am to submit an Expression of Interest. Projects that are eligible and meet the criteria will be invited to submit a full application. If funding is still available, a further call for Expressions of Interest may open in May with a deadline in June 2017.
The initiative is run by Surrey County Council and the Forestry Commission on behalf of the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership.
