South East - Rural Surveyor

Tim is a Chartered Surveyor and joined the CLA’s South East team in 2016. He cut his teeth at a regional practice in Salisbury and after 7 years moved onto a national firm, where over the next four years he not only continued to advise clients on rural issues but was also heavily involved in the renewable sector including over-seeing the deployment of rooftop solar across the South of England.

Tim is now responsible for advising members on a range of land use and land ownership matters, including planning and diversification, rights of way and access, compulsory purchase, wayleaves and tenancies and of course, renewables. In addition to the advice work, Tim also sits on a number of stakeholder groups, representing views on issues such as planning, infrastructure and designated landscapes.
