Roger Tetlow

Roger is a Solicitor with nearly 20 years’ experience advising CLA members on their legal queries.

He initially worked in private practice in a rural firm in Devizes, Wiltshire before spending 8 years working in-house for the National Trust at its Head Office in London, assisting it in the management of its landholdings, before moving to the CLA.

He provides advice to members on a wide range of rural land law issues such as land registration problems and the interpretation of easements and covenants. Boundary disputes and private rights of way disputes form a major part of his workload. Additionally he advises members on the law relating to commons and chancel repair liability as well as business leases.
