Midlands - Rural Surveyor

Richard is a Rural Chartered Surveyor and has worked for the CLA for 6 years. He has practised for 9 years as a qualified chartered surveyor and agricultural valuer.  

He graduated from Harper Adams University in 2007 and then progressed to a carrear as an auctioneer and valuer for a Cheshire based surveyors firm before joining the CLA in 2013. Richard has worked on many areas of policy including compulsory purchase, non domestic rates and bovine tuberculosis.


He advises on a range of land ownership issues from planning and development, business rates, compulsory purchase, access and rights over land, telecommunications, diversification and the Basic Payment Scheme.
