East - Rural Adviser

Rachel is a Rural Adviser in the East of England. She is a BASIS and FACTS-qualified agronomist, and before joining the CLA she worked for Hutchinsons, advising farm and estate owners on crop husbandry and related matters. She also spent a year in Canada working as an agronomist, and upon her return was employed by the 10,500 acre Euston Estate in Suffolk where she was involved in a wide variety of estate and farm matters. She advises CLA members on a range of rural issues including BPS, ELS/HLS, Countryside Stewardship and availability of grants.
