Wales - Policy Adviser

Margaret is a Policy Adviser in the CLA Cymru joining the team in January 2019. Her role is to ensure Members in Wales have access to up to date information on legislation and policy relevant to their land and business portfolios. She also works with the team to support lobbying and campaign work with Welsh Government on rural issues.

Margaret has a professional background in housing, community development, health and social care. She has previously worked with housing associations and national and local charities on property management and construction, organizational change management and business development and diversification.

She is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (Property Management) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.Margaret’s work with CLA Cymru is focused on residential property management and rural housing and planning.
