Midlands - Rural Adviser

Helen joined the CLA in 2018 and is a Rural Adviser with over 25 years’ experience in the land based sector.

Prior to joining the CLA Helen worked for a conservation NGO for 20 years, with direct responsibility for managing over 2,500 acres of land. Key areas of responsibility included land management contracts, agri-environment schemes and other rural based grants, FBT’s, handling neighbour issues, public access and health & safety. Outside of work Helen runs her own rural business, a field-to-fork enterprise selling rare breed meats and charcuterie direct to the public from her own livestock.

She advises on a wide range of areas to do with land management, rural grants and livestock.
