Just Ask is the CLA’s major consumer campaign to encourage people to Just Ask where the food on their plate comes from.
The CLA believes that the Just Ask local food campaign can whet the public’s appetite to seriously consider the choices they make when it comes to eating out. Only by raising the public’s consciousness of the food that they buy and eat can we really get the message home.
Food and the provenance of local food is very much the flavour of the month in the political world. Throughout the CLA’s centenary celebrations it will be promoting the Just Ask campaign and getting the public not only to support us but also to question the source of the food they eat.
In 2008, we will be continuing this promotion through a series of national and regional events so that you can be part of the Just ask campaign and help to encourage food outlets including restaurants, pubs, and hotels to source seasonal food that is locally produced.
