This Guidance Note provides information on how to comply with Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) in residential properties in England and Wales. It also covers the situation related to listed buildings and buildings in conservation areas. It does not cover EPCs and MEES in non-domestic lettings, which is covered in a separate guidance note.
