RDPE 2007-13 Contacts and Information for CLA members with potential projectsThe £3.9billion Rural Development Programme for England is now open for applications. This page provides CLA members with information about the various schemes and provides a list of contact points. The Socio Economic element of the RDPE is being delivered differently in each Region so it is important that members discuss any potential application with the Regional Development Agency at an early stage. It can be expensive to put together a detailed application and whilst an invitation to proceed from an expression of interest to the full application stage shows that the project is eligible it is not a guarantee that funding will be made available. Announcement issued by the Forestry Commission regarding the EWGS 2008-9 Budget
As part of the process for settling 2008/09 budgets with Defra, the Forestry
Commission has agreed to defer £1.75m of expenditure on EWGS (which is
funded as part of the seven-year Rural Development Programme for England)
planned for 2008-09 to later years of the programme. This means they are
unable to offer 2008-09 payments to a small proportion of the applications for
EWGS under Prospectus 2007. The notice announces how they intend to
handle applications for 2008-09 funding.
