Regional Economic Strategy Consultation: CLA Response

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the CLA response. We have endeavored to incorporate all the contributions received.  The East Midlands' Regional Economic Strategy (RES) will provide the framework for achieving sustainable economic growth, which will impact on all members.

By addressing critical issues for the region including productivity, business competitiveness, skills, innovation, reducing disparity and improving our towns and cities this strategy has allowed the CLA to highlight the importance of rural areas and suggest improvements to policy and strategy which will allow the East Midlands rural economy to flourish.
