CLA launches new insurance scheme 'A tailored scheme with a range of competitive products to meet the needs of rural land and business owners.'
The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) today launches CLA Insurance Services as a further improvement to its package of member benefits. The new scheme is provided in partnership with award-winning insurance brokers R K Harrison.CLA Chief Executive Mark Pendlington said: 'Good insurance cover is a necessity for anyone operating in the challenging environment of today's rural economy. We are delighted to be offering our members this new insurance scheme, which includes an excellent range of highly competitive products tailored to their needs. 'Following a tender process and rigorous evaluation of alternative suppliers, R K Harrison emerged as the clear winner. The company showed ideas, flair, imagination and commitment right from the start. It demonstrated high standards of customer service and already had extensive experience in dealing with insurance for rural communities, with solutions for farms, landed estates, commercial businesses and individuals. And with an overall client retention rate of 94%, R K Harrison has proven ability to deliver what people want at the right price, over time and through changing circumstances." CLA Insurance Services will focus on four core product ranges: - CLA Land - a comprehensive package for farms and estates; - CLA Home - a range of products to cater for all aspects of buildings and contents insurance, whatever the size or type of home; - CLA Business - a range of products to meet the diverse needs of rural enterprises. - CLA Motor - for everything from a single private car to large commercial fleets. Christopher Bell, Deputy Chairman of R K Harrison, said: "CLA Insurance Services is a truly innovative scheme which plays to R K Harrison's strengths and provides a very exciting opportunity for us. We understand why people join the CLA and what their expectations are, and this affinity with the membership is vital in providing the right products and level of service. We pride ourselves on being the leader in developing branded, specialised schemes like this, but we don't offer it with the customary impersonal call-centre approach. Instead, we have real, knowledgeable professionals with broad insurance experience and an understanding of rural issues. Indeed, some of our staff are CLA members themselves.'
