Professionals in rural practise will benefit from joining CLA

You should be a member of the CLA

You are probably aware of the CLA’s role in fighting for the rural economy. Are you aware, however, of how much the CLA can benefit you both as a rural professional and as a firm

The CLA ensures you can provide a more effective and cost efficient service to your clients whilst enabling you to market your own business more effectively across the whole rural economy.

What you, and your firm, get as a member

Invaluable up-to-date knowledge – ensuring you are kept fully abreast of all legislative, economic and political developments as they happen, saving you hours of research time.
Advice from the experts – from the CLA’s in-house barristers, surveyors, planning and tax specialists and your regional team on all generic aspects of landowning.
Free case advice for CLA member clients – if your client is also a CLA member you can get specific free professional case-related advice from our land use, legal and tax teams.
New business opportunities – from networking with local and regional landowners, involvement in CLA events to featuring in the CLA’s printed and online business directory.
Working to protect your interests – all those working in the rural economy cannot complain about the law if we do not act together vigorously to defend our interests.
