Members receive the monthly CLA magazine Country Landowner and Rural Business, plus regional magazines or newsletters and e-news mailings. Make sure your regional office has your current postal and e-mail addresses.
CLA’s in-house experts work on a day to day basis with members. Through their extensive experience provide the leadership in their respective areas to influence decision makers to protect the rights of those responsible for rural land, property and business.
The CLA provides members with an influential voice with decision makers lobbying Government at local, national and European level.
Every CLA member has a regional team to provide the first point of contact in seeking information or advice on problems and queries. They are supported by dedicated professional advisers who lobby regionally and provide local information.

The CLA retains its own in-house professional advisory team which includes barristers, tax specialists, planning experts and surveyors who provide unlimited, independent and impartial information on a wide range of issues. This is only a phone call, or e-mail, away and free to members.
Events - Members are able to access the most inforned and experienced network of land owners and rural businesses in England and Wales through a comprehensive programme of events including business and professional seminars, training courses, advisory clinics and social functions, as well as local agricultural shows and sporting fixtures.
CLA London Branch – as a CLA Member you have the opportunity to join a select group of people who spend a good deal of their time in London but have strong rural connections, either business or social. London Branch provides a programme of topical speakers and themes at central London locations. London Branch is available to CLA Members only, regardless of where you live.
The CLA Business Directory - The CLA Business Directory is an essential guide to rural businesses. The printed Directory is circulated free to all CLA members throughout England and Wales in Spring each year. Advertising is exclusively available to CLA members, there are over 100 business classifications plus a web version which is free and fully searchable.
The CLA Game Fair - Members are entitled to free and discounted tickets and enclosure passes to the annual CLA Game Fair (acording to subscription). Details are available in April preceding the Game Fair.
Advertising opportunities – members receive preferential rates when advertising in Country Landowner and Rural Business magazine.
CLA Insurance Services aim to represent and support the interests of rural land and business owners. The range of products include, CLA Land, CLA Business, CLA Home and CLA Motor and free quotations are given over the phone.
As a CLA Member you have access to a wide range of services specially negotiated with partners to save you time and money. In addition to insurance, these include healthcare, leisure, motroing and utilities amongst others. In many cases, these savings can more than cover the cost of your subscription.
The CLA Charitable Trust was founded by CLA members to help disabled people by encouraging education about the countryside and providing facilities for those who are disabled or disadvantaged.
