Local Development Plans

The CLA are not able to respond to each individual LDP and members are advised to check the details either at the local Council Offices or through their website.  Please contact the Regional Office if you need advice on any aspect of the LDP in your area.

Bridgend County Borough Council

Bridgend CBC are asking for the public's views on their Draft Assessment Procedure.  Copies of the Initial Consultation Report, and the Candidate Site Assessment Procedure, together with details of how to respond to the consultation are available to view on the Council's website www.bridgend.gov.uk/planning; at any library in the Borough or at the Customer Services Centre, Angel Street, Bridgend

 

Caerphilly County Borough Council

Caerphilly CBC have now submitted their Local Development Plan to the Welsh Assembly Government and the Planning Inspectorate.  An independent Planning Inspector will now conduct an Examination into the plan.  Those people who made representations seeking to change the Deposit LDP whose representations were 'duly made' have the right to appear before and be heard by the Inspector.  Should you require any further information on the process contact Mrs Barbara Prosser on 01443 866761

 

Carmarthenshire County Council

The Council have announced a period of public consultation from 4th November 2009 to 4th January 2010.  This consultation is for the Pre-deposit Preferred Strategy, Initial Sustainability Appraisal and the Habitat Regulations.  Copies of these documents are available for inspection at the Council offices in Carmarthen, Llanelli, and Ammanford, or on their website at www.carmarthenshire.gov.uk

Please note that whilst the advisers are able to advise on a wide range of subjects relating to land ownership, they cannot act in place of a member's own solicitor, accountant, surveyor and tax specialist by, for example, drafting documents or corresponding on their behalf and may be precluded, by the rules of their own professions, from advising one CLA member against another CLA member in the case of conflict.

Solicitors Indemnity Fund . Solicitors in the CLA Legal Team are not covered by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in relation to professional negligence in relation to any advice given by them.
