Local Development PlansThe CLA is not able to respond to each individual local development plan and members are advised to check the details either at the local council offices or through their website. Please contact the Regional Office if you need advice on any aspect of the plan in your area. Ceredigion County Council: The County Council is holding a consultation period on the Deposit Documents from 22 December 2010 to 12 noon on Thursday 17 February 2011. All relevant documents will be available for inspection from 22 December at the Planning Department, Neuadd Cyngor Ceredigion, Penmorfa, Aberaeron, at the Council's offices, on their website and also in local area libraries. www.ceredigion.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=4761
Conwy County Borough Council: Conwy CB Council will be going to Consultation on the revised Deposit Plan on 7 March 2011 for a minimum of 6 weeks. Full details can be obtained from the Council's Offices on 01492 575124 or on their website: www.conwy.gov.uk/environmentandplanning
Monmouthshire County Council: Monmouthshire Council has launched a Strategic Sites Studies Consultation to run between 7 January to 4 February 2011. Swansea City Council: Swansea City Council has invited interested parties to attend the Community Information Sessions being held across the County during mid to late January 2011. These focus on providing an overview of the LDP process and highlight the ongoing Candidate Sites stage. Denbighshire County Council: Draft Residential Space Standards Planning Guidance Denbighshire Local Planning Authority has prepared Residential Space Standards Planning Guidance for public consultation. The document's primary role is to provide guidance on the standards that the Council expect to be met in residential development, including minimum internal space standards, private outdoor space and compliance with Lifetime Homes. The standards are intended to improve the overall quality of housing across the County. Once the guidance has been approved by the Council it will be used during the handling and determination of planning applications. The documentation is available at all Council offices, One stop Shops and libraries and on the Council's website at www.denbighshire.gov.uk
The consultation will last for 6 weeks commencing on Monday 17 January and closing on Monday 28 February 2011. Please note that whilst the advisers are able to advise on a wide range of subjects relating to land ownership, they cannot act in place of a member's own solicitor, accountant, surveyor and tax specialist by, for example, drafting documents or corresponding on their behalf and may be precluded, by the rules of their own professions, from advising one CLA member against another CLA member in the case of conflict.
Solicitors Indemnity Fund . Solicitors in the CLA Legal Team are not covered by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in relation to professional negligence in relation to any advice given by them.
