Wessex Water Draft Drought Plan Statement of Publication
Wessex Water has published its draft Drought Plan for public consultation.
In the explanatory notes Wessex says that water companies are required by the regulators to prepare and maintain a drought plan that outlines how they respond to extended periods of dry weather. It outlines actions they could take to reduce the demand for water and/or increase available supplies and also explains how they will communicate with their customers, regulators and external organisations to ensure everyone is kept informed of the drought situation and how they are managing it.

The consultation period extends for eight weeks until 2 March 2012. Wessex would welcome comments on the draft plan and these should be sent before 2 March to Defra at the address provided on the website.

Solicitors Indemnity Fund . Solicitors in the CLA Legal Team are not covered by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in relation to professional negligence in relation to any advice given by them.
