Cornwall Core Strategy Consultation Cornwall Council is currently running a consultation (until Friday 2nd March) on key documents which will form the basis of its Local Development Framework. The council is seeking views on its 'Preferred Approach for a Core Strategy' – this outlines its preferred approach to its 20 year planning strategy entitled 'Planning Future Cornwall'. The final version of the plan will be its Core Strategy (as it is known under current legislation) and will contain the key planning policies for the county for the next two decades.
The council is also seeking views on two other documents – the Community Network Area Discussion Papers (for West Cornwall, Mid Cornwall and East Cornwall) and 'Options and Preferred Options for Energy, Minerals and Waste'. There are also a series of 'Roadshow events' in venues across the county where these documents can be discussed.

Please note that whilst the advisers are able to advise on a wide range of subjects relating to land ownership, they cannot act in place of a member's own solicitor, accountant, surveyor and tax specialist by, for example, drafting documents or corresponding on their behalf and may be precluded, by the rules of their own professions, from advising one CLA member against another CLA member in the case of conflict.
Solicitors Indemnity Fund . Solicitors in the CLA Legal Team are not covered by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in relation to professional negligence in relation to any advice given by them.
