Wiltshire Business Perception Survey

Wiltshire Business Perception Survey

Businesses across Wiltshire are being encouraged to help shape the way in which the council makes decisions which affect the business community.

Wiltshire Council, working with the Wiltshire Strategic Economic Partnership (WESP) and the newly formed Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWELP), will be launching the Business Perception Survey on November 30. The results of which will inform future planning and economic development policies.

The council and its partners including Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses and Business West will help ensure as many businesses participate as possible.

Businesses can access the survey by going to www.wiltshire.gov.uk/businessperceptionsurvey.htm.

Cabinet member with responsibility for economic development, Fleur De Rhe-Phillipe said: "I encourage as many local businesses as possible to assist us in shaping key decisions which affect them in the future.

"Understanding the needs of businesses and the issues that affect the local business community are critical if we are to achieve our aims of encouraging businesses to the county, supporting existing businesses and boosting local economy. This survey will play a key part in this".

If members of businesses have any queries about the survey they can contact the economic development team on 01225 718669 or e-mail: econdev@wiltshire.gov.uk.
