The Dorset Local Access Forum is a statutory body that provides numerous local, regional and national organisations including Dorset County, Bournemouth and Poole Borough Councils, Natural England and DEFRA with independent advice with regards to improving outdoor access/green space for people to enjoy by foot, horse, bike and car. The Forum's work concerns a wide range of issues, for example, play and outdoor recreation, sustainable transport, health, tourism, disability, equality & diversity, local economy, planning & development and land-management (agriculture/forestry/environmental conservation).
The Forum is currently recruiting new members, and seeks to attract a wide range of candidates that can contribute to the debate surrounding the above issues. This may be a position that appeals to you.
