Energy monitoring service set up to reduce utility billsOrganisations with large utility bills can now turn to a comprehensive energy monitoring service delivered by rural business consultants and CLA members Laurence Gould Partnership. The service collates real-time usage data for individual devices and circuits, and relays this information to consultants working remotely who will provide short-term advice and long-term plans to optimise energy use.
Laurence Gould Partnership says the energy efficiency and monitoring service combines innovative software and robust yet unobtrusive monitoring equipment with the company's expert knowledge and industry experience to deliver real savings to businesses. Users of this service can look to make savings of 10 percent or more on their electricity bill, according to Laurence Gould Partnership. Not only this, but long term energy management plans will help identify those areas where investments should be focussed, allowing real returns on investment in planning for low energy purchases. Ongoing management means that savings are maintained and built upon, which is otherwise difficult to achieve. The close attention paid to the detail of a business's energy use helps identify problems - such as faulty machinery – early. Timely fault alerts prevent unplanned downtime. All this is achieved remotely as the sensor data is transmitted wirelessly through a secure network to your energy consultant's desk.
This service offers good value for money as savings should outstrip the cost of the service in the first year. Ewan Delany, environmental consultant with Laurence Gould said: "Many businesses think of their utility bill as a fixed cost relative to production. However, big savings can be found and wiser purchasing decisions made with the benefit of this energy management service."
Laurence Gould is offering this service to all businesses in the UK with significant utility bills. Electricity can be monitored, on multiple buildings, sites and enterprises An initial site visit can be arranged to discuss the service and scope for an installation. |
