Fly-tipping On Private Land Survey – DEADLINE EXTENSION

ENCAMS recently asked for members' support with the research it is conducting on behalf of the Environment Agency into the issue of fly-tipping on private land.  The deadline for this survey has been extended to ensure as comprehensive a response a possible.

ENCAMS says that to reduce fly-tipping, we need to define the true scale of the problem and understand exactly how it affects you as private landowners. Only with landowners' input can ENCAMS recommend changes that will benefit both landowners and the environment in the future.

ENCAMS has extended the deadline to complete the survey to the end of Friday 16th January 2009, so that everyone has the opportunity to share their views on fly-tipping. The online survey should only take 10 minutes to complete.

The survey can be completed at http://www.encams.org/surveys/flytipping_private_land/

If you are unable to complete the survey online please request a paper copy which ENCAMS can either email through to you or post directly.

ENCAMS asks at the end of the survey that you provide contact details and give your consent to keep you updated on the findings of the research and any solutions they lead to. That way, you can see how your input has shaped ENCAMS' outputs.

ENCAMS can be contacted on 01942 612653, or: market.research@encams.org
