Applications needed for this year's BIAC Young Consultant of the Year Award

The BIAC (British Institute of Agricultural Consultants) considers it vital to promote, encourage and reward the activities of the young consultants working within Agricultural and Rural Business. One of the ways it does this is by organising an annual competition that allows them to demonstrate the skills they have obtained and gives them an opportunity to compete for the BIAC Young Consultant of the Year Award. This, whilst rewarding the winner with the prestigious accolade of 'Young Consultant of the Year' also provides all entrants with a very valuable opportunity to promote their skills and demonstrate to their peers their thoughts and ideas. The BIAC website holds full details of the services and events that the organisation provides and organises. In addition this website is a valuable resource, providing a search mechanism which allows interested parties to identify consultants who have the skills to cover the areas in which they are interested. All consultants listed on the website have completed and returned proof of CPD.

Purpose:

  • To celebrate and promote the work and skills of young consultants working within Agriculture.

Why should someone enter?:

  • To gain increased profile for themselves and their company / employer.
  • To learn from being exposed to an experienced panel of judges and a rich cohort of fellow competitors.

  • The successful applicants will be advised by 21 August 2011 and asked to submit their chosen case study, research work or activity by 30 September 2011.
